When raising a litter we believe in lots of early stimulation and handling for the puppies. We introduce the Bio- Sensor exercises beginning when the puppies are 3 days old and continue through the 16 th day. These handling exercises, which have been used by the Guide Dog breeding programs for years, stimulate early nervous system development as well as get the immune system up and moving. It is believed that by stimulating the nervous system early, you can produce healthier, more stable pups for life. Our puppies are raised underfoot in the heart of our household where our active family spends its time. The puppies become part of our family during the 9 wks they are with us and are handled and cared for by all of us including our 3 children.

Our puppies stay with their mom the entire time they are with us. As we believe that a strong immune system sets a pup up for life we allow our moms to nurse until the pups go home at 9wks. There is no greater teacher and more effective disciplinarian than a behaviorally healthy momma dog. We feel that having their mom available gives our pups a behavioral advantage for life !

When they are old enough the puppies spend a lot of time at our training facility being handled, played with and trained by our staff and clients and have often attended several puppy training parties before they go to their new homes. We want to place the most well adjusted puppies we can with good, caring and loving families. What we give our puppies far exceeds the normal for the average good breeder but we feel it makes our puppies superior to the average Golden and prepares them for whatever work they may do including becoming the best dog you ever owned.
